Research interests
My research focuses on the design and use of integrative methodologies and tools, including participatory engagement practices, systems approaches and modelling tools, to understand complex socio-environmental challenges. Much of my recent work has contributed to research for development projects looking at natural resource management and agricultural livelihoods in rural communities in South Asia. This developed my desire for greater integration of social research into my work. Being part of the Institute will provide such opportunities through the collaborative and positive approach being taken to explore complex water challenges in Australia and the region.
