Partners

The Institute for Water Futures is building a coalition of capability in academic, government, policy and community to support scientifically informed, politically robust and future ready water management decision-making.

The Institute for Water Futures partners with leading institutions to shape discourse on water futures and grow capability for future-oriented decision making.  Our researchers join us from our partner schools and institutes across the Australian National University.  These include the Crawford School of Public Policy, Fenner School of Environment and Society, Research School of Earth Science, College of Engineering and Computer Science, the ANU Mathematical Science Institute, and the Institute for Climate, Energy and Disaster Solutions.

  • research and education partnerships with other departments and agencies
  • consultancy and research services to government and non-government organisations
  • postgraduate research opportunities for students
  • support for Indigenous students through the IWF Indigenous Scholars Program.
